Saint Nicholas Day is 6 December, and in Luxembourg the Kleeschen visits each commune on its own date in the weeks before: a parade through the town centre, a visit to the Christmas market, an arrival by boat on the Moselle in Remich. For 2026, the communes of Mersch, Dudelange, Remich, Schifflange, Wiltz, Strassen, Kehlen, Sandweiler and Leudelange have published theirs on their own agendas; each fiche gives a time only when the commune does.
In Luxembourg City, the Kleeschen on Tour parade from Gare Centrale to Place Guillaume II has been part of past Winterlights editions; on 21 October 2026 the Ville de Luxembourg had not yet published its 2026 date and time. Just across the borders, the FĂŞtes de Saint-Nicolas in Nancy run from 20 November 2026 to 3 January 2027, and the Minett Park at Fond-de-Gras runs Saint Nicholas steam trains on 21 and 22 November.
