About the event (2027 edition)
The fourth SAARathon is announced for Sunday 10 October 2027 in Saarbrücken, according to the organiser's event page. Distances, start times and registration for 2027 are not published yet. The 2026 edition started from the Kulturbiergarten in St. Arnual, on the Saar riverbank, with a marathon to the Völklingen Ironworks that doubled as the Saarland championship, a half marathon, the 10 km Westspangenlauf and a 5 km run.
