about the event
The next Euro Marathon Metz, the road running weekend previously known as the Marathon Metz Mirabelle, is announced for October 2027 in Metz, about an hour from Luxembourg. The organiser's home page says 'Rendez-vous du 8 au 10 octobre 2027' and its header gives 9 and 10 October 2027, the Saturday and Sunday. It lists a marathon, a half marathon, the 10 Kilomètres Haganis, a marathon relay and children's races. Start times, fees and registration for 2027 were not published on 13 October 2026; the site takes pre-registrations by e-mail.
Preparing for Euro Marathon Metz 2027?
Race day is Sat 9 Oct 2027, in 342 days. Counted back from that date, a two-week taper would start on Mon 27 Sep 2027; the planner lays out base, build and peak from the day you set it. The taper is the one phase with a meta-analysed optimum: about two weeks, training volume cut by 41 to 60 percent, intensity and frequency kept (Bosquet et al. 2007). A standard structure, not a training plan and not medical advice.
