about the event
The 70th edition of the Cavalcade de Pétange, organised by KaGePe (Karneval Gemeng Peiteng). This traditional Laetare Sunday (Mi-Carême) carnival parade features costumed groups, floats, brass bands and confetti through the streets of Pétange. One of Luxembourg's major carnival events alongside the cavalcades of Remich, Diekirch and Schifflange. Sunday 7 March 2027 is the most probable date: the organiser holds the parade on Mi-Carême Sunday (15 March in 2026) and, as read on 29 September 2026, announces its 70th edition for 2027 without a date. In 2026 the parade left at 14:11; the 2027 time is not published yet.
