about the event
Médecins Sans Frontières Luxembourg runs a mapathon for Geo Week 2026 at the University of Luxembourg. Volunteers trace buildings, roads and rivers from satellite images for the Missing Maps project, so that humanitarian teams have usable maps in the field. No experience is needed: a short introduction is given, PCs are provided, and drinks and snacks are offered. Thursday 19 November 2026, 18:30 to 21:00, GIS lab on the first floor of the Maison des Sciences Humaines in Belval, or online. Registration through the MSF form.
